Samurai's Review Arcade SS2

Some say this is the best SS games in the series, some say SS4 is the
best. Either way, SS2 is deffinitely a great game with
great game engine and intelligent AI in the game. So when you
are playing a human player, it is fun and challenging, or even
playing the computer, it is still fun and challenging. In fact,
I always, think that you need a lot of skills to play this game.
Also, good thing that not many characters are equipped with
cheap moves.
The are 4 new characters that appear in SS2, make it total number
of 15 characters for you to choose from. Sometimes, you can get
to fight Kuroko as well. Well, I always don't know what exactly
you have to do to fight Kuroko, some people say there's certain
sequece of things you have to do in order to fight him, and
so say you get certain points. Well, I personally believe in
the 'legendary myth'---'if you are good, you get to fight him'.
Mizuki is also a cool boss, although she may seems 'cheap' at
some point, but she is one of the toughest boss to fight(well,
I think maybe as tough as Zankuro in SS3). Anyways,
all I can say is they have a good cast of characters in the game.
Along with the great story lines that SS2 has created in
the SS series, SS2 also provides the best endings in my opinion.
The various characters' endings does actually seems like a real ending.
Endings in other SS games do seem a bit like a 'cliff hanger' in
a story, implying 'to be continued'.
Well, the power among characters may seem a bit unbalance. For instance,
Genjuro can almost kill you in one slash, Ukyo can cheap out all
the way, and some characters can dizzy others using 2 slashes.
Other than that, the game doesn't seem to have much of a problem,
it is one of the most ideal game you can think of.
